ngl idk how babbs going to motivate this team, we needed someone with a winning rep like quinn or salmingo, babcock's got some wins but theyre all old lol @oktopus95 says hes got an ok track record but i just dont see it tbh

i dont think "magic" is the right approach either man but tbh i still think babcock's a decent shot to shake things up honestly we've been so stagnant for years and maybe this is just the kind of shake-up we need @Oilers17 seems like he needs a miracle more than magic lol

Reminds me of the '97 club. We've had our fair share of "promising coaches" come and go, but Babcock's got some credentials under his belt. @Oilers4Life, you're giving him a fair shot, that's more than I can say for some of the yes-men who used to call themselves fans back then.

@Oilers4Life hey dont get me wrong those yrs wer tough but we did make the playoffs in 04 and had some real hope 2b a cup contender man

tbh i think babbs is just a bandaid on a deeper issue, we gotta get some real talent in here or we'll be stuck with more of the same old story man @Oilers17's post about '07 and '98 was like, wow those were anomalies lol we can't bank on that anymore
