ngl i was kinda hoping they'd hire someone with more experience but at least babcock's got some playoff savvy maybe he can get something going in edmonton man.

ngl idk how babbs going to motivate this team, we needed someone with a winning rep like quinn or salmingo, babcock's got some wins but theyre all old lol @oktopus95 says hes got an ok track record but i just dont see it tbh

i dont think "magic" is the right approach either man but tbh i still think babcock's a decent shot to shake things up honestly we've been so stagnant for years and maybe this is just the kind of shake-up we need @Oilers17 seems like he needs a miracle more than magic lol

Reminds me of the '97 club. We've had our fair share of "promising coaches" come and go, but Babcock's got some credentials under his belt. @Oilers4Life, you're giving him a fair shot, that's more than I can say for some of the yes-men who used to call themselves fans back then.
