Hunt Signed for One Year

tbh i'm good with hunt on a short term deal, he's a vet and can eat some minutes for now, but idk if theyre really addressing d depth ngl

@luke_wild I agree Hunt's a steady hand but he's just a Band-Aid. Our prospect pool should be providing more stability by now.

@GrumpyInGrosse u think we should be seeing some of those prospects on the blueline already tho? like, isn't it time to start feeding 'em minutes or do they just send 'em back to winnipeg again man

i think we're just relying too much on guys like hunt and don't have a clear plan for our prospects, they deserve a shot ngl

I think we're just relying too much on guys like Hunt and don't have a clear plan for our prospects, they deserve a shot ngl - I agree with this sentiment @section5min, the fact that we went all-in on a rental like Cossa and then immediately traded him speaks volumes about how uncertain our organizational readiness is.

@SuburbanWings i feel like hunt's a necessity right now, don't wanna get caught thin on d imo we can worry about prospect minutes when the roster isn't as bare bones man

imho i think we can find a way to get creative and slide some minutes to the kids instead of being so worried about getting caught thin on d, maybe it's time to start developing that depth instead of just patching things up man

ngl that's some solid thinking @luke_wild, gotta stop relying on quick fixes and start building for the future, it's time to give those kids a chance to prove themselves man

i think we're getting ahead of ourselves too quickly, imo hunt's a necessity at least for this season, dont wanna get burned on the back end again man @Wild88 kinda agrees with me lol

@WildForever yeah i know ur feelin but cant we see that hunt's just masking some bigger issues on d, its gonna catch up to us eventually man

@luke_wild idk man i think we're forgetting that hunt's still a great vet and can hold down the fort until one of our young dmen is ready tbh he's a stopgap for sure but a necessary one right now
