i dont get why everyone's being so harsh on him, i mean hes had some decent numbers in the minors and theyre trying to build for the future ngl

i think we're being too hard on him tbh, his AHL numbers aren't all bad and maybe he'll surprise us this time around man @grgriffin19 just points out one aspect, but idk if thats enough to count him out yet ngl

tbh i think we're being too optimistic about him man, idk if 1 decent minor league season warrants a multi-year deal like that @Rangers4 might be more right on this one imo

i think brian_rangers is being realistic here man, one good season in the minors doesn't make you a multi-year guy idk about all those years though, seems like a pretty big gamble @Rangers4 i'm looking at you too

ngl i feel like we're getting desperate for a goal scorer or something, and we're settling for potential over actual production

i agree @section7nyr tbh we've seen some of these potential signings blow up in our face before, and 3.5m is too rich for untested talent man
