Shane Wright on the Move

I agree Wright has potential, but let's be realistic about his role here - we drafted him to fill a need now, not down the road when Rasmussen and Raymond are ready. It's time to explore options that benefit both parties.

I disagree with your line of thinking @section114sea. This notion that Detroit is willing to move on quickly from young talent because they shipped Cossa out makes no sense. They were always looking for a upgrade in goal and didn't feel like Cossa was it, unlike @SuburbanWings who seems to see the bigger picture with Wright's role here.

@Kraken71 wrights been in the pros for 2 yrs now and still lookin like a bottom 6 guy honestly idk what he's gonna be down the road but i dont see him breaking out anytime soon man

tbh i think ppl were being a lil too optimistic on him from day one, ngl he's just another guy who cant live up to the hype man @section114sea
