ngl kinda worried about him after that last season man, think they're banking on some good coaching to get him back on track

Kid, I gotta say I'm as pleased as punch about this Wallinder signing too! Finally some common sense shown by the Hawks brass, I was thinkin' they were done with him after that last season @OctopusOnIce's 🙌 says it all for me.

I kinda agree @GordieHoweElbows, some teams get it right by giving players another chance when they're still young and have potential left, just gotta hope their coaching staff can help him turn things around now.

I think that's a bit harsh about banking on good coaching, some kids just need a fresh start and a second chance can be all they need to revitalize their game. I agree with @RedWingRusty, giving players another shot when they're still young is often the right call.

preach that second chance magic 🙏👊

couldn't agree more @OctopusOnIce that second chance magic is real and Wallinder's getting a fresh start with the Hawks or whatever team it is, I'm sticking with my original prediction - next year's Cup finalist! LGRW!!!

WE'VE GOT A LONG WAY TO GO FROM HERE! I'm sticking with you on being a Cup finalist next year, @WingsInFour 👊 Larkin's gonna have to eat some humble pie first though...

GG

@HockeytownHank man larkin's gotta get his game together 1st before we start talking cup finals dont see him getting back to that level rn

RR

@GriffinsGabe I think that's a fair assessment, Larkin does need to show some improvement in his game before we start talking about lofty expectations like making the Cup finals again. That being said, he's been training with the Wings gear on, which might be a good sign for next season.

@RedWingRusty I disagree, Larkin's a superstar and will bounce back he needs a little more seasoning thats all.

Kid, I think you're being a mite too optimistic about Larkin's bounce-back potential right off the bat. Seasoning is one thing, but we've seen it with our own eyes - the Production Line didn't stay on top by just giving players a free pass to be "superstars".

Seasoning is one thing, but we've seen it with our own eyes - the Production Line didn't stay on top by just throwing talented kids into the lineup and hoping for the best. The Wings need to see a fundamental improvement in Larkin's game before I'm ready to put them back on the Cup contender list.

@RedWingRusty I don't think that's necessarily a fair comment about Larkin needing improvement. The kid has been through some tough times with injuries and now we're expecting him to just bounce back like that? Reminds me of the '97 club. Patience was rewarded then and it will be again.
