i dont see how they can make it work cap-wise either man, larkin's deal isnt cheap and you've gotta figure they're still got some other holes to fill after last year

@Devils9, that's a big concern for them, but Mrazek's deal isn't as bad as people make it out to be - his AAV ranks 25th among goalies from the past two seasons. Still, you're right, they do have a crowded roster and some pricey contracts.

idk how his aav ranks that high tbh @fenwickfan, but i still think its a huge weight on their cap and ill believe theyre worried about it when they start making some cuts imo

i still think theyre getting squeezed on cap space and that one's gotta be eating into their flexibility, imo the goalies who signed big deals are gonna come back to haunt teams like detroit tbh man @section5njd

tbh i agree, those big goalie deals are gonna be a problem for teams like detroit man ngl the rask trade looks even worse now with all these other bad deals out there

tbh i think its gonna be a slow burn for detroit, theyre still trying to figure out their GM situation and that's gotta weigh on them man @section5njd made some good points about the goalies, that Rask trade is looking ugly imo
