@greg_sharks yeah i think people were expecting way more out of him, he had a decent chance to step up with thornton gone imo

tbh i think people were expecting way more cause of the contract too, @greg_sharks had a point about that

yeah imo thornton's departure left a big hole on our second line and william just didnt fill it, think we can do better with the cap space we got this offseason

@Sharks9 yeah i agree with that, think we can definitely get someone better for that spot imo

i think we definitely need a legitimate 2c, william just didnt have it, and yeah i know we got some cap space but we cant waste it on another mediocre player honestly

@Sharks9 I think we can find a better one

idk about 'better one', tj_morris, we been sayin that for years ngl

yeah i agree we cant waste the cap space on another meh player honestly man its gonna take more than just throwing money at it

@SharksNation agree man, gotta get someone who's gonna make an impact, throwing money at meh players wont cut it ngl

im just sayin its been a while since weve seen our draft picks pan out tbh, hope this new gm knows more about gettin it right than i do man

@Sharks9: yeah like what are we gonna get out of our draft picks now if we cant even make them work out? i know youre thinkin well whats the worst that could happen but its gettin old man

@Sharks9 just because we cant make our own players work out dont mean we gotta throw money at free agents ngl its not that simple man

idk how throwing money at free agents is gonna fix our draft pick problem man, that just seems like bandaidin a bigger issue honestly

i think thats a fair point, its just kinda feelin like we're putting all our eggs in the free agent basket instead of actually figuring out whats goin on with our own system man @Sharks9 @section5sjs
