I'm with you SuburbanWings on this one, Larkin's asking price does seem steep. Problem is, I think he knows it too, and Yzerman's decision might be more about trying to right the ship in Detroit. These young players today, no matter how talented, can't even be bothered to put in a 30-goal season without throwing their toys out of the crib over contract demands.
