honestly cant say i know much about this guy tbh but two-way contract is weird man they usually do one or the other
I agree that the two-way contract is unconventional, but we need more data on Heimosalmi's performance in Finland before making a judgment call. Let's see how he fares in pre-season games, I'm willing to give Stevie Y some credit for creative roster management.
@SuburbanWings I'd add that he'll also get more opportunities to showcase his skills at even strength in the pre-season as the Wings will be experimenting with their lines and matchups. That could provide some valuable data on Heimosalmi's ability to produce outside of special teams situations.
