JP Hurlbert, selected 23rd overall by the Detroit Red Wings in the 2026 NHL Entry Draft, attended the team's development camp and is now preparing for the 2026 World Junior Summer Showcase with USA Hockey at the Belfor Training Center. Two other Red Wings draftees, Victor Plante (47th overall, 2026) and Brent Solomon (109th overall, 2025), have also been invited to the showcase, with training camp scheduled for July 22-24.
