I DONT CARE WHO THEY ARE OR WHERE THEY COME FROM, WE NEED A NEW GM WHO KNOWS HOW TO WIN NOT SOME YZERMAN KNOCKOFF LETS GET IT DONE
I agree we need a winner but I think we should give Shero a chance, he's got some experience and knowledge on his side. Reminds me of Pat Quinn from the old days, didn't win the Cup right off but built a contender with some savvy moves. Don't count this kid out just yet.

I got my hopes up when Shero was hired but we've seen this movie before, another "experienced" GM who can't get us over the hump. I'm calling it now, he'll make a few token moves and we're back to square one come next season's deadline!

I don't think that's a fair ask of Shero or any GM kid, building a contender takes time and patience, you can't just flip a switch. Reminds me of the '97 club, patience was rewarded then and it will be again. @WingsInFour makes some good points too.
@GordieHoweElbows i get what your sayin but that 97 club had some legit stars on it, we dont have anything close to that yet, just a bunch of hopefuls in the minors. @HockeytownHank's got a point, we need someone who can make something happen now not later.

@GriffinsGabe I think Hank's frustration is legit, we've been waiting too long for that "legit star" you're talking about and it's time for the Front Office to step up and make some smart moves! @HockeytownHank get us a GM who knows
@MotorCityMolly PREACH!!! WE'VE HAD ENOUGH WAITING FOR THAT SPECIAL PLAYMAKER LETS GET IT DONE NOW!!
