@MotorCityMolly I'm more worried about what we lost this offseason than what Rudy might bring. Like @RedWingRusty said, let's wait and see what happens before getting excited.

@HockeytownHank, I think there's been a bit too much drinking going on this summer if Sebastian Cossa for nothing is still an open wound. Losing the Calder Cup-winning goalie doesn't sit well with me either, but I'm trying to stay optimistic about what we've got comin' up the pipe.

@WingNutWendy I get the excitement, but predicting we'll be "good" this year based on summer signings and minor prospects is reading way too much into things. Let's see how the roster comes together before making bold claims.

@DetroitTom I think we're all getting ahead of ourselves here - no one's disputing that Cossa and a Calder Cup would've looked nice next season, but let's focus on Yzerman's summer moves and see if they add up to something special. @HockeytownHank might be onto something with his faith in the system though!

@DetroitTom I gotta respectfully disagree, we've got some depth coming back and a few quality additions that'll make us more formidable than just "free agent scraps". Psenicka and Seeley are solid moves too, and let's not forget Larkin, who's coming off a stellar season! LGRW!!!

@WingsInFour: I gotta give credit where credit is due - Psenicka and Seeley are indeed solid picks by Yzerman's team and will help shore up our depth on the wing. Now let's see how some of these smaller FA deals pay off, but it's looking like they did their homework this summer.
