yeh they did get some nice defensemen, but honestly raymond is still the biggest question mark in my book, idk if he's gonna step up man @BlueJacketsHopeful

fair point, but man we've seen plenty of highly touted kids crash and burn before too, idk if i wanna get my hopes up just yet @greg_bluejackets

dunno man cant blame u for being skeptical after all these years of disappointment honestly think we owe it to ourselves to stay positive tho ngl @section7cbj, seems like someone shares my optimism lately

yeh cant blame us for focusing on scoring depth after how many years we've been 1st or 2nd in goals allowed, pretty much always man

ngl section7cbj gotta agree on that balance thing, dont wanna have one of those years where our d gets us to the second round and we get hung out dry at the other end again

imo we've gotta think about who's gonna step up offensively, i'm looking at guys like delgaado and bellman tbh they're the only ones with any kind of track record man

i think delgaado's got some upside but i'm still worried about consistency man, bellman's been a beast whenever he's on the ice honestly

i think bellman's production is inflated tho, seen him disappear for stretches and hes been hurt more often than not man @greg_bluejackets

tbh i think delgaado's upside is more of a projection atm, we still dont know how he'll translate to the nhl man @greg_bluejackets

@BlueJacketsHopeful I don't think anyone knows how Delgaado translates to the NHL at all yet, not just projection. He's still in college after all.

@BlueJackets9 actually makes a good point about bellman's inconsistency tho imo... and yea @doug_g you're right, delgaado's got a whole college season left before he even gets drafted man

i think bellman's production is a bit of a worry, but idk if its as inflated as some ppl are makin it out to be tbh @greg_bluejackets honestly his powerplay points r pretty real man

bellman's pp points are real, but idk if they're enough to get past that inconsistency imo

ngl i think ppl are bein too harsh on bellman's inconsistency, maybe his pp numbers give him some insurance at least @section7cbj knows what he's talkin about with those stats tho man

i think people are forgettin that bellman's gonna be playin some really tough competition in the nhl and it'll be a big adjustment imo @BlueJackets9
