Panthers acquire B. Tkachuk to join brother, Markstrom to replace Bobrovsky

The Florida Panthers acquired forward Brady Tkachuk from the Ottawa Senators on June 21 to join his brother Matthew, and acquired goaltender Jacob Markstrom from the New Jersey Devils on June 30 to replace departing goalie Sergei Bobrovsky. The Panthers also added defenseman Radko Gudas, forwards Lars Eller and Garnet Hathaway, and goaltender Akira Schmid during the offseason. The team finished 40-38-4 and missed the playoffs last season.
