i agree he had alot of bad moves but that dont change teh fact he did somethin about teh rebuild and got some decent players. now we need to see who they bring in as gm

Steve Yzerman has stepped down as Detroit Red Wings general manager after serving in the role since 2019 and will transition to senior advisor to owner Chris Ilitch. The Red Wings missed the playoffs in each season under Yzerman's tenure and currently hold the NHL's longest active playoff drought dating to the 2016 season. The organization is considering both internal and external candidates to fill the vacant head of hockey operations position.
