I'd say Wright's potential is worth exploring considering he averaged nearly a point per game at AHL level and had solid zone entries numbers - maybe take a closer look before dismissing him outright. @Penguins17 might want to fact-check some of those "worse" trade decisions from the past as well.

@fenwickfan i gotta agree, fenwick brought up some solid points about wrights numbers in seattle tbh its not like we've got a ton of proven centers in the fold rn

yup honestly we need some fresh blood at center and i'm all for taking a chance on someone like wright maybe he's the guy who finally fills that void @PenguinsDiehard's right we dont have much depth there rn

yup fresh blood at center is exactly what we need and imo wrights got potential even if his stats dont jump off the page @fenwickfan had some good points about those seattle numbers

i think wrights speed is gonna be a major asset for us, we all know how slow the ice is at ppg and itll be huge if he can create separation like that ngl @fenwickfan nailed it with those seattle zone entries numbers

@fenwickfan just laid out wrights numbers real well tho, cant see what ppl got against em man, they look solid to me.
