Red Wings Bring Home Michigan Native With Latest Depth Free-Agent Signing

The Detroit Red Wings signed defenseman Ronnie Attard, a Michigan native, to a one-year, two-way contract as part of general manager Steve Yzerman's offseason roster additions. Attard, who is 6'4" and 210 lbs., spent last season with the Colorado Eagles of the AHL while under Avalanche contract. The White Lake Township native was drafted by the Philadelphia Flyers in 2019 and played three seasons at Western Michigan University before turning professional.
