The Columbus Blue Jackets acquired forward Valeri Nichushkin from the Colorado Avalanche on June 25 in exchange for draft picks, and added forwards Ryan Lomberg and goalie Phoenix Copley as free agents. The team lost captain Boone Jenner and forward Mason Marchment to other teams in free agency.
