If we're talking deadline adds, gotta be realistic about cap space. We can maybe fit a mid-six forward if we move salary, but don't expect a 20-minute guy.

Honestly as long as we're not giving up our top prospects I'm okay with standing pat. Talbot's been solid enough in net, we just need to not panic.

Saw some of our depth guys at the game last week and they were working hard, so I'm not sure this 'bare cupboards' take is totally fair. We got something to work with if we're patient.

I agree with you that some of our depth guys have shown potential and are working hard, but let's keep things in perspective - we're still talking about players who weren't in the Wings' future plans at the start of the season. It's progress, not a finished product, as I've said before.
