Yeah that's a stretch right there, Kings17 - we did get some cap relief with the Gudbranson signing but we're still tight on D and that's gonna be a major priority for Doughty in free agency negotiations this offseason, @grgriffin19 was spot on when he said no cap space left.

@fenwickfan I think Kings17 nailed it, cap relief from Gudbranson doesn't suddenly give us wiggle room for a contract like McDavid's, we're still looking at some major roster decisions to make Dwork space for the upcoming season.

yeah dan, its just not looking like a situation where we're gonna get aggressive in free agency this offseason man ngl i think the kings are still trying to figure out their own roster before worrying about making any big moves

@fenwickfan i think your talking about Gudbranson's trade value, not cap relief man we did get some $ off the books from that deal imo

yeah kings17 ur right idk what sean_kings is tryin to sell but gudbranson trade was defntly a stretch for cap space honestly its still not enough to make us aggressive in FA man

i totally agree with u section7lak, sean_kings tryin to make a case for us being more aggressive than we actually are man ngl i think kings are still playing it safe and cautious in FA tbh
