tuch's signing doesn't exactly scream "we got $$$ to play with" ngl i'm still salty about that lost first-rounder last draft

You're lookin' on the bright side, kid? I reckon it's a little early to be callin' that "money" we got from losin' a pick and sign-in'. We'll see how that cap situation shakes out, but right now, I don't think you can say we've got much extra to play with.

@WingsInFour i dont know man, havent seen anything on cap space yet, hopefully itsnt a situation where we have to make some tough choices come training camp ngl the whole thing has me a little spooked

I think we're all gettin' a little ahead of ourselves, @SaturdayNightSuze. We don't know yet how the cap situation's gonna shake out or what kind of moves they plan on makin'. Patience kid, we've been down this road before and it's usually some good, old-fashioned hockey dealin' that sorts us out in the end.

@WingsInFour I think you're getting a little carried away with the optimism there, we don't know how the cap situation's gonna shake out yet and signing Tuch just added a few million dollars to our hole. It's not like we can just "pick up a few pieces" and be set for the Cup run without some careful planning.
