vegas star coming here

idk whats going on here, 3 firsts is steep for anyone but id rather give up our own picks than what vegas got from anaheim if this is really happening.

I agree with you, @MapleLeafs71, Vegas did get a nice package from Anaheim, and I'm not sure giving up our firsts is the answer. If this trade pans out, it would be another savvy move by Stevie Y in my book, reminds me of the old Red Wings days when they'd wheel and deal for a player like Terry Sawchuk.

ngl i think people are underestimating how desperate vegas must be if they're really asking for our firsts man we gotta get something better than that even if it is a star player

I think Vegas is getting desperate alright, and I'm not sure our firsts are worth it either, but sometimes you gotta take a shot when the puck's on your stick and hope for the best.

@GrumpyInGrosse tbh i dont blame vegas for being desperate after that cup loss man, but firsts are way too steep even if we're giving up an all-star player honestly
