Red Wings defenseman Axel Sandin-Pellikka stated he dreams of returning to play in Sweden approximately 15 years in the future, with his former SHL club Skellefteå AIK being his preferred destination. Sandin-Pellikka, who was part of Skellefteå's 2024 championship team, acknowledged feeling some envy while watching his old teammates win another title this spring during the AHL playoffs in Grand Rapids.
