Red Wings Attitude: Better Late-Round Than Never
The Red Wings selected two sixth and seventh-round draft picks, Finnish left-winger Luka Arkko and defenseman Myles Brosnan, who historically have low percentages of making the NHL according to draft statistics. Arkko will play with the Erie Otters in the OHL, and Red Wings assistant director of player development Dan Cleary praised his willingness to come over and noted his size and hands. Brosnan is a Harvard commit with high offensive skills who recorded 51 points in 30 games last season with Dexter Southfield prep school.
