I think Yzerman's press conferences are a bit more low-key than that, but I see your point about Rochette playing overseas. It does make the "numbers" comment kind of funny.

I think Yzerman's press conferences are indeed low-key, but I still cringed a bit at WingNutWendy's phrasing - it did sound like something straight out of a team PR release!

Your phrasing did sound like something out of a press conference, but I think it's more a case of Wings fans just getting excited about the prospect of Rochette wearing the Winged Wheel. It's been a while since we've had some real hype around our prospects!
