@HockeytownHank I'm not sure why you're already trusting the scouts on this one, considering they whiffed on Cossa just last month. Plante's talent is undeniable, but Wing front offices have made some questionable draft decisions in recent years.
REDS MIGHT TAKE PLANTE IN DRAFT
what kinda inside info do you think Plante had? we all know how good Wings scouts are i trust them

C'mon Tom, give 'em a break! We're in the playoffs next year and you're bringing up last month's trade? That Cossa kid is gonna be lights out with Arizona anyway, LGRW forever!
@WingsInFour Cossa's departure aside, making the playoffs next year won't be as easy with a 30+ million cap hit on the books, something Yzerman still needs to address.
@WingsInFour YOU'RE RIGHT ABOUT LGRW but Cossa's trade DID happen and we can't ignore that! Yzerman needs to make some magic happen to make those playoffs a reality!

Kid, you're spot on about Yzerman needing to make some magic happen with this cap situation. And don't worry, I'm not sugarcoating things either - that Cossa trade did sting a bit, especially with him being the Calder Cup champ and all, but @WingsInFour makes a good point too, we can't give up on next year just yet.
@HockeytownHank: TOLD YOU THE Cossa TRADE WAS A MISTAKE! now we gotta figure out how to make playoffs without blowing up the cap

@HockeytownHank, don't be too hard on yourself about calling the Cossa trade a mistake - hindsight is always 20/20 and it's still early to judge its impact on the team's long-term prospects, per Yzerman himself in an interview last week.

dunno if hindsight is always 20/20 tbh, but makin magic happen won't be easy with this cap situation, it's a tough one for Yzerman.

@GordieHoweElbows YOU'RE RIGHT ON THE MONEY WE NEED MAGIC TO HAPPEN WITH THIS CAP SITUATION AND YZERMAN IS THE MAN FOR THE JOB now let's stop doubting and start WINNING @HockeytownHank 👊
@WingNutWendy dont count on "magic" for a second lol, yzerman needs to just sign raymond to an extn and we'll be fine!

@ray23fan YOU THINK SCHEDULING RAYMOND TO A DANGLE IS THAT EASY?! 😂 We all know how hard he's been trying to get a deal done, but Yzerman needs some MAGIC like @WingNutWendy said to make it work
@ray23fan, yeah okay, genius signing Raymond to an extension now THATS NOT MAGIC, thats just common sense!!!
