A Bleacher Report analyst predicted the Buffalo Sabres could trade for Detroit Red Wings forward Alex DeBrincat at the 2027 NHL Trade Deadline if the Red Wings are out of playoff contention. DeBrincat appeared in 82 games for Detroit last season, posting 41 goals with 44 assists and 85 points for new career highs. The prediction comes after the Sabres traded Alex Tuch to the Washington Capitals in the offseason.
