Romanov trade rumors?

idk if i believe that about romanov pagnotta got it from some other place too and imo thats just a way to get teams interested in trading for him

tbh i gotta agree w/ u, dont see why wed trade romanov now, esp after signing wolanin, that d corp is still a mess man

imo that d corp is a mess has been a problem for ages, cant expect much to change w/ wolain signing man we need someone like lundqvist back here ngl his influence on young goalies made all the diff when hes around

ngl i dont think we're bringing lundqvist back, that ship sailed when he got to minnesota imo his influence comes from being on the ice, not just being around

tbh i agree w/ @Islanders88 about lundqvist, cant see him coming back here now and honestly idk how much influence some guy has on our d corp even if he's around

ngl i think u r downplaying how much of a difference a guy like lundqvist makes on d corps, imo he's not just some "influence" he's a world class goalie that made us actually contend man @IslandersLifer

sorokin's got game but hes still only one guy man, cant rely on him to carry us to the playoffs every year like lundqvist did imo

ngl i think u r right about sorokin's fragile spot in the playoffs every year, 1 guy cant carry us man @steve_islanders had my hopes up for him too but yeah lol

@IslandersLifer, not exactly an encouraging sign when your top goaltender's "fragile spot" in the playoffs is even acknowledged, let alone by fans who should know better. @steve_islanders was right to have hopes for Sorokin, but reality sets in eventually - 10 years and counting.

idk why doug's getting on people for being hopeful about sorokin tbh we all want to believe in him
