tbh i think that's exactly what's been going on for years now, just buying time and kicking can down the road until we're stuck with a huge albatross contract @Oilers17

@jake_oils had a good point about buying time, and honestly i think this is another case of mortgaging our future cap space for short term relief man @Oilers4Life got that feeling stuck with me too
