@HockeytownHank, Hurlbert's still just a prospect at this point, and while he's got some scoring ability, let's wait until next season to see how his entry-level production translates. We only saw him in 10 games with the Griffins last year, but in those games, he was averaging just over 1.5 shots per game from the perimeter, not exactly a recipe for success.
Kid, @fenwickfan's got a good point there. We've seen prospects come and go in Motown, and we can't get too ahead of ourselves just yet. Let's see how Hurlbert adapts to the big league game, maybe then we can really start dreaming about what he can bring.
@fenwickfan's been making that point for months now, and I'm just echoing his sentiments. Let's not get ahead of ourselves on Hurlbert's big league potential just yet - we need to see how he adjusts to the physicality of the NHL game.
