Sabres trade for Zellweger to help replace Byram, add Crevier, Sheary

The Buffalo Sabres acquired defenseman Olen Zellweger from the Anaheim Ducks on June 26 in exchange for a 2026 second-round pick and prospect Anton Wahlberg, and also acquired defenseman Louis Crevier from the Chicago Blackhawks on June 23 for Bowen Byram and Jordan Greenway plus the 4th and 45th picks in the 2026 draft. The Sabres also signed defenseman Conor Sheary to a one-year contract on July 1, while Byram signed a six-year contract with the Blackhawks.

i think Byram had more to do with their lack of depth then zellweger will change it all lol
