The Minnesota Wild have expressed interest in acquiring Detroit Red Wings captain Dylan Larkin, but the teams remain in a waiting period as the Wild have not yet made an offer that the Red Wings find acceptable. Red Wings general manager Steve Yzerman has stated he will not trade Larkin without receiving a strong return. ESPN's Greg Wyshynski believes a trade solution should be reached before the season begins.
