Viktor Arvidsson, a 33-year-old forward, signed a two-year free-agent contract with the Detroit Red Wings last week. Arvidsson said he was happy to join the team and that knowing head coach Todd McLellan made the decision easy. In the 2025-26 season with Boston, Arvidsson recorded 54 points (25 goals, 29 assists) in 69 regular-season games and scored two goals in four playoff games.
