Daniil Tarasov is gonna be a great backup BUT HE NEEDS TO PLAY MORE MINUTES!!
I agree Tarasov has upside but being a great backup requires more than just flashes of brilliance - he needs to prove his consistency in a starting role before I consider him a top-tier backup goaltender like Gibson. @MotorCityMolly, do you think he's got the floor to be a NHL starter if given significant ice time?

@eddy_77 honestly gotta agree man, tarasovs skills are on another level and he should be playing more minutes but you cant just throw a kid out there without some actual development in the minors first
