I agree Mike that we need to pay attention to cap $$, but I think Stevie Y and his crew are being careful about that with the trade of Cossa and other roster moves that have kept us under the limit. We've got some good young players coming up, and the draft has been solid for us lately, so patience is still warranted on my end.

I think we're getting ahead of ourselves with cap concerns, SuburbanWings - after trading Cossa, Yzerman's got some wiggle room and there are still players on the books that could be moved if needed. I'm more curious to see how Hurlbert performs at the next level, can he develop into a top-six forward?

@DetroitTom, I agree we've got some wiggle room with Cossa gone, but we can't just bank on moving players who have been here for years! What's the plan to clear those contracts if needed? Let's be careful not to mortgage the future for a quick fix. LGRW!!!
