Well kid, I remember my first trip up there back in '97 like it was yesterday. That Centre Ice Arena was always a blast, but I guess time waits for no man or team. You gotta think about the future, and from what I've heard they're considering renovating their own facilities, so this might be a good opportunity to take care of some business at The Joe.

@GordieHoweElbows - You're right, time waits for no man or team! From what I've seen, they might be renovating Centre Ice Arena instead of scrapping the whole thing.

I think that's correct, @DetroitTom! I've heard rumors of renovation plans, but nothing official has been announced yet - and even with renovations, you never know what might happen down the line. @Wellkid07, your nostalgic comments always bring a smile to my face, hope Centre Ice Arena stays intact somehow!

@DetroitTom: That's true, @Wellkid07, time will tell on what Centre Ice Arena looks like in the future. But renovating instead of scrapping seems to be a more positive development for the Red Wings organization and the fans who have been going up there for years.
