Red Wings UFA’s All Still on Market
Five Red Wings unrestricted free agents from the 2023-24 season remain unsigned as of early July, including forwards Patrick Kane, James van Riemsdyk, and David Perron, defenseman Travis Hamonic, and goaltender Cam Talbot, while Erik Gustafsson has signed elsewhere. Kane, 37, played 67 games last season with 57 points and is considering his options after the team missed the playoffs and Dylan Larkin requested a trade. Van Riemsdyk, Perron, and Talbot are viewed as among the most likely to sign NHL contracts during the offseason.
