The Vegas Golden Knights signed defenseman Lukas Cormier to a one-year contract through the 2026-27 season on July 6, 2026. Cormier, 24, recorded 47 points in 49 games with the AHL's Henderson Silver Knights last season and has appeared in two NHL games with Vegas. He was drafted by the Golden Knights in the third round of the 2020 NHL Draft.
