Learning, building relationships was front and center for Red Wings prospects at 2026 Development Camp
The Detroit Red Wings concluded their 2026 Development Camp at Little Caesars Arena's BELFOR Training Center, featuring 37 total prospects including the seven players selected in the 2026 NHL Entry Draft plus attendees from 2025, 2024, 2023, and 2022 drafts. Assistant Director of Player Development Dan Cleary stated the camp's purpose is educational, focused on helping young players absorb as much as possible with support from organization personnel. The four-day camp emphasized learning and relationship-building, with prospects having opportunities to interact with NHL and Detroit Red Wings legends.
