The Dallas Stars acquired Nashville's second-round pick in the 2027 NHL Draft and Vegas' third-round pick in the 2028 NHL Draft from the Nashville Predators in exchange for forward Mavrik Bourque and defenseman Ilya Lyubushkin. Bourque recorded 66 points in 156 regular-season games with the Stars and appeared in 10 Stanley Cup Playoff games, while Lyubushkin registered 23 points in 133 regular-season games and appeared in 16 postseason contests.
