You're being cautious, and I respect that. News travels fast on the internet, but we've seen these rumors come and go before. Would be a wonderful addition though, reminds me of the good old days when Ullmark first donned the blue and gold.

yeah thats true OT, these rumors come and go but man its been too long for this team to just pick up a goalie and run with it, we need some stability back there imo

tbh i know its been a long time but at least theyre moving on some stuff now man, hopefully it sticks for once. weve seen this team make moves only for em to fall apart in camp ngl

ngl i know exactly what u mean, this team's had some epic collapses in training camp lately and it feels like a cycle is finally getting broken man

tbh i think we're getting ahead of ourselves a bit here, camp collapses still happen, lets see how it plays out and if they can actually hold onto some decent depth man. @Sabres71 is right tho about breaking the cycle, been saying that for years ngl

I think @mike_d22's got a point, though. The Housley era may have been short-lived, but it wasn't exactly a resounding success either.

tbh i think youre selling housley a bit short, had some actual defensemen when he was here which hasnt exactly been our problem lately imo

i think you're bein fair sam honestly housley did have some good moments but like u said he ultimately didn't get us anywhere man, still can't believe they traded him for that 4th round pick though @SabresNation would've rather had a decent gm at the time imo
