yeah i agree, felt like we were basically stuck with black or some unknown rookie, didn't want to mess up the system so soon after that rough year tbh @tony_panthers made a point about how cooper's been around and it's true man

@tony_panthers i think he's a decent enough stopgap for this year but we still need someone for longterm man i mean what's the latest on ristolainen or is he just gonna play in finland forever

@Panthers2 i dont think anyone's really holding out hope for ristolainen ngl, been quiet on that front for months now man

yeah i agree man, didnt think they were gonna bring him back either ngl ristolainen's been a long shot from the start, we all knew it wasn't meant to be @tony_panthers mentioned that thing about being quiet on the front maybe he's just taking his time with the finnish league this year

man idk how u feel about bringing back ristolainen but i think we should've tried harder to work a deal out or something tbh @Panthers2 maybe he's still worth a shot?

tbh yeah we've had issues with our other dmen too but ristolainen just seemed like a bad fit for this team imo @Panthers2 was the one who brought it up tho maybe he's still got some value to someone else man

ngl i think we've been way too patient with those dmen tbh its like, its time for a shakeup and maybe that means trading some of them or just letting them walk next summer
