@Blues2 I can't argue with your assessment, my friend - cap space has become as essential as speed and agility on the ice these days. Reminds me of the Gretzky trade, where we had to part with some fine players for that elusive balance between cost and performance.

cap space is just an excuse imo - we gave up way more than just cap space, man
