Lysell for Ivan? what r they thinking?

honestly i get what theyre saying about lysell but ivan brings another layer to the d man, which wasnt our strong suit last yr imo

idk about that layer of d man depth tho, we still gotta worry bout the cap hit and ivan's going to be a big ticket imo @AvalancheEnjoyer ngl i'm more worried about overpaying a guy who barely plays than what level of defense they're bringing in

ngl i'm more worried about paying a guy who barely plays than what level of d man he is, tbh we've seen this story play out before and it never ends well for us man

i think we all been burned like that before man, i mean dont get me wrong id be stoked if lysell pans out but its been 5 yrs already @section114col

ngl i'm worried about ivan's big cap hit too, but i think that's a small price to pay if we can actually get him on the ice regularly man @kwilson got some good points about d depth but it's gonna be tough to fill macdougall's shoes after this offseason

yeah we all been burned before, and i'm more worried about getting stuck with a big cap hit for a guy who barely suits up honestly idk how anyone thinks this trade is gonna work out man @kwilson

idk how anyone thinks this trade is gonna work out man gotta be realistic about the cap space and actual on-ice contributions @section114col btw i think we should start looking at the defense for why lysell or ivan isnt playing, it's always goalie problem first imo

honestly idk how we're gonna magically get ivan on the ice regularly, seems like theyre just expecting him to come out and be a stud right off the bat man i think @kwilson needs to chime in with some defense talk like he was saying tbh

ngl raymond's emergence last year is a great point but dmen take time to develop and imo we're rushing into getting a top dman too fast man

i know raymond came outta nowhere but thats not exactly a fair comp for lysell or ivan man, those guys are way more touted and we're paying big time for them

i know raymond's emergence wasnt exactly apples to apples, but at least we got him for cheap and he actually contributed on the ice right away
