tbh i dont blame em for waiting til fa opened, that 10yr 100mil deal is a lot of $$, maybe now they can finally upgrade some other parts of the roster

imo that deal is gonna be worth every penny, makar is still a kid and hasnt even hit his prime yet man, he's gonna keep making plays for years to come

idk if i agree man @Avalanche9, makar's been doing that for years already, so yeah he'll keep making plays but how much longer can we rely on him to carry the team tbh?

idk man, you think makar's gonna suddenly stop being elite? he's still 25 and hasnt even scratched the surface of his potential ngl

@section114col i get your point but honestly makar's been so dominant for so long thats hard to bet against him man he's gonna keep putting up elite numbers for years and its not just about how many goals he scores

dunno man, i think u r underestimating the grind, elite years at 25 are awesome but how many years can makar keep pushing himself like that honestly its a miracle he's still going strong @Avalanche9

i think u r right, the kid's still got plenty of gas left, just wish they'd focus on building some depth around him like @jen_avalanche said, don't wanna get too reliant on a single superstar

honestly i think makar's already doing more than most guys his age and we're just lucky he's on our team right now

@section114col yeah i think we are lucky to have him but it's still a big risk not locking him up long term imo

tbh i think makar knows his worth and is gonna get paid man, it's a done deal @frankie_d is right though, depth is still a huge concern for us now
