The Detroit Red Wings concluded their four-day development camp at the Belfor Training Center with 36 players participating in on-ice instruction and skill development led by the team's player development staff. The camp included draft picks from the past four years and free agent invitees, such as first-round pick and University of Michigan commit J.P. Hurlbert, who described the experience as beneficial for learning what improvements are needed. The Red Wings will next hold a prospect tournament and training camp in September.
