Viktor Fedorov, an 18-year-old Russian forward from Tomsk, was selected by the Seattle Kraken in the fourth round (99th overall) of the recent NHL Draft, making him the first Russian forward ever drafted by the franchise. Fedorov, a left-handed shot listed at 5-foot-11 and 183 pounds, describes himself as a two-way player with good hockey sense, faceoff skills, and scoring ability. He has played for the Nizhny Novgorod organization across multiple levels, including 13 appearances in the top-flight Kontinental Hockey League last season at age 17.
