yeah i think thats a fair point about woodley's salary, maybe they did get some value out of that trade @Devils9 honestly thought we were gonna see more out of markstrom this year man

yeah i dont know about grim numbers, his sv% was still decent for the most part tbh

tbh sv% can be all over the place from year to year man, doesnt necessarily tell me everything about a goalie honestly

sv% is all over the place, but i dont think its crazy to say markstroms numbers were getting bad imo @ryan_devils might agree with me on that one man

ngl markstrom's numbers weren't that bad last year, i think he had one of his better seasons @ryan_devils probably disagrees tho man

i think markstrom had his moments last year but idk if i'd call it one of his better seasons tbh, ngl he struggled towards the end of the season

@ryan_devils, his numbers were indeed getting worse last season. You're right that he struggled towards the end, but his expected goals allowed per 60 was up to 2.93 from 2.53 in '22-'23.
