tbh idk why they settled for so little either, i mean lombardi had some buzz around him, shouldve gotten more than just a 3rd nhl pick

yeah i thought theyd ask for more too, but im guessin that 3rd round pick was just too enticing tbh

gotta wonder about their GM's negotiation skills is an understatement tbh, @section5njd said that 3rd round pick was a tempting deal, maybe they shouldve stood firm, still happy with the add tho

yep i was thinkin theyd wanna get a bit more for him tbh maybe take advantage of the cap situation with carolina still celebratin their cup win

@nbrennan: yeah maybe take advantage of the cap situation but like what can they do when u have 10+ mil tied up in a goalie who got torched during the playoffs ngl lombardi's value just wasn't that high tbh

@andy_v i think you hit the nail on the head, his skating isnt exactly top notch so yeah good luck converting those pp chances man @nbrennan's got a point too tho, thats gotta weigh heavily on lombardi's value imo

tbh lombardi's skating is a major issue but i still think they gave up too much for him idk even when he gets on the ice can we trust our pp unit to actually score lol @andy_v
