i think thats fair, still gotta believe in him man, and he has shown flashes of some good d play honestly.

@sam_sabres i think thats a big part of the problem tho, flashes arent enough imo, needs consistent performances from him on d honestly.

i agree @Sabres71, flashes are nice but theyre gonna want to see more from him in a bigger role and for longer stretches ngl.

@SabresNation idk if hes gonna get that bigger role tho, think theyre just gonna stick with larkin and jokiharju as d1 and 2 ngl man

idk man i think they gotta give him some rope and see how he grows ngl, cant write him off yet especially if larkin gets hurt or something like that happens and then we gotta count on him anyway @SabresNation

i think we need more from mcdonough than just flashes, needs to put together a few good games in a row for me honestly @sam_sabres

ngl i think flashes are better than nothing atm, needs to string together some consistency for sure @SabresNation

@SabresNation i think thats true, hes had some nice moments but need more consistency before we can trust him with a real role @sam_sabres was right about larkin too, cant count on him to be healthy all the time man

yeah cant count on larkin being healthy, thats why we need our young guys to step up and be reliable, honestly its on them now
